London Recap - What I Wore
I spent a week studying abroad in London + managed to only bring a carry on suitcase. Maximizing my wardrobe + rewearing was key. I packed an abundance of neutrals, primarily black. This made planning a thousand times easier because I was not wasting time trying to max colors / patterns.
My travel day was very basic. A black tee + leggings + denim jacket. I ended up wearing the denim jacket daily. The Everyday Girl Leggings from Aubrey's Attic Company are lightweight + easy to pack. My sneakers are Naturalizers + were amazing for the 10+ miles we walked daily.
The first fun outfit I put together was chic + simple, which is what I aimed for most of the trip. I found it easier to accessorize than plan bold outfits the whole week.
Later in the day we went on a tour so I continued with the black tee + leggings + sneakers + jacket but added an Aubrey's Attic Company ascot. The AAC Dancing Queen Ascot was the perfect subtle touch.
Allll the neutrals as we took a boat tour to Greenwich. I added the AAC Sky Inspired Necklace which was the perfect touch.
This outfit was one of my favorites. Classy + business casual with a flare. The Aubrey's Attic Company Boss Babe Blazer is magically oversized, yet easy to pack. I accessorized with a dainty choker from AAC, linked here.
Beach day to Brighton, best day + outfit. Soft + lightweight, the You Got It Top from Aubrey's Attic Co was an easy choice.
I also layered this top with a blazer for a business visit when I needed to be more professional. It is so easy to justify a purchase / packing decision when it can be worn multiple ways.
Back to my black on black w a pop. I packed the I Mean It Blazer + Shorts but it was never warm enough for the entire set. I improvised and paired it w dress pants + flats to a business tour.
Limiting packing to one carry on was a challenge, but manageable with lots of neutrals and reworn basics. All Aubrey's Attic Company pieces are linked + available online at aubreysatticco.com.
